Terms of Use

Effective October 16, 2026

These terms set out the conditions for using ZepLink (the “Service”). The Service connects your own PC directly to your own phone so you can see and control the PC’s screen on the phone. The game picture, sound and input go directly between the two devices and never pass through the Service’s server. The server only helps two devices in different places find each other’s address.

3. What the Service does and its limits

The Service tries to connect in this order:

  1. Direct LAN connection — on the same local network, it connects directly without the server.
  2. Direct remote connection — the server exchanges both addresses and the two devices connect directly.

🔴 There is no relay server that carries your connection. If the two devices can’t connect directly, the connection fails. Some mobile carriers, routers and workplace networks don’t allow remote access; that is a limit of how the Service works, not an outage. You can check in advance whether your network works with the app’s Connection check, which needs no account or subscription.

Picture sharpness, delay and stutter depend on the performance of the two devices and the network between them. The Service does not guarantee any particular quality or delay.

The Service assumes the host program and the streaming software installed on your PC are working. You manage their installation and your PC’s power and network.

4. Free use and ads

You can use the following for free:

Remote access is not free — it is available only with ZepLink Pro (section 5).

While you use the Service for free, the app shows ads. To connect over your LAN you watch a rewarded ad and get a 12-hour pass; while the pass lasts, you connect without watching another rewarded ad (the first few connections after you start using the app need no pass). A rewarded ad plays only when you choose to watch it, and a banner ad is shown on the list of your PCs.

A pass is permission to connect, not an ad-free period — banners keep showing while you have a pass. If a rewarded ad can’t be loaded (for example, because ads are blocked on your network or no ads are available where you are), a connection that needs a pass can’t start until an ad can be shown.

5. ZepLink Pro subscription

6. Your responsibilities

7. Prohibited conduct

If we find a violation, we may limit your use of the Service or suspend or close your account.

8. Changes to and interruption of the Service

The Service may change to improve it or for operational reasons. Changes that are unfavorable to you, and ending the Service entirely, are announced in the app and on this website 30 days in advance. The Service may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance, failures or events beyond our control; we’ll announce such interruptions as far as circumstances allow.

9. Third-party software

Streaming on your PC uses Sunshine (GPL-3.0), which the host program installs with your approval, and the app includes open-source components. Each component follows its open-source license, and within its scope that license takes precedence over these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service only provides the means to connect two devices. It isn’t involved in, and isn’t responsible for, what happens on the PC you connect or the data stored on it. It is also not responsible for damage caused by network conditions it doesn’t control, the state of your devices, or third-party software.

However, we are liable under the applicable law for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that can’t be waived by contract.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account in the app. What is deleted and how is described in Delete your ZepLink account and section 3 of the Privacy Policy. Deleting only the app leaves your account in place; to delete the account too, follow the deletion steps.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises between you and the Service, we’ll first try to resolve it in good faith. If that fails, either of us may bring the dispute to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

If you are a consumer living outside Korea — for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland — choosing Korean law does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts of that country.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we announce the change and its effective date in the app and on this website. Changes that are unfavorable to you are announced 30 days before they take effect; if you don’t agree, you can stop using the Service by deleting your account.

These terms are published in English and in Korean with the same content. For users in Korea the Korean version prevails; for everyone else the English version prevails.

14. If you got the app from the App Store

Apple’s Standard License Agreement also applies to the app. These terms are between you and the developer, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
